Our April Rent Report reveals Miami rents hold above the national average, except for Pompano Beach and Hialeah. While rents across the US have seen a 3% upwards move compared to last year, Miami Metro has long surpassed the $1,436 level of the national average, in almost its entirety.
Here are the highlights of our report, for Greater Miami:
- The two most expensive rental markets in Florida are Fort Lauderdale and Miramar, with average rents of $1,933 and $1,846
- Around the $1,700 bracket we have Davie ($1,743), Pembroke Pines ($1,717), Miami ($1,707) and Coral Springs ($1,698).
- Hollywood ($1,489) and West Palm Beach ($1,463) are almost on par with the national average rent.
- Pompano Beach ($1,394) and Hialeah ($1,373) are the few examples in Miami Metro with rents under the national reference point.
